Throwback Thursday – From the Badge to the Ballot

Back in the late 1990s, I proudly served as a member of the City of Haverhill’s Auxiliary Police Department in Massachusetts after graduating from the Massachusetts Criminal Justice Training Council, completing the Basic Course of Training for Reserve/Intermittent Police Officers.

Wearing that uniform meant more than just enforcing the law—it meant protecting neighborhoods, earning trust, and stepping up when others needed help.

Though my career path changed and I’m no longer wearing the uniform, the values it instilled in me still guide who I am: service, integrity, and commitment to public safety.

I have deep respect for the men and women of the Manchester Police Department, who face modern challenges with professionalism and resolve. As your Ward 9 Alderman, I will be a strong advocate for our public safety personnel—ensuring they have the support, tools, and community trust they need to keep all of us safe.

Let’s build a safer, stronger Manchester—together.
